Most Expensive Batman Memorabilia

Avid Batman collectors would surely want to own the Most Expensive Batman Memorabilia. A batmobile used in Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever sold at the Kruse International collector car auction in Las Vegas in September 2006 for a record $335,000 to a very rich lawyer John O’Quinn (September 4, 1941 – October 29, 2009).

At the same auction held the previous year, O’Quinn, the most successful lawyer in Texas, who has made fortunes in multi-billion dollar tobacco settlements – spent $690,000 on a plain grey 1975 Ford Escort GL once owned by Pope John Paul II when he has still a Polish priest.

The Unveiling of Azzam: World's Most Expensive Privately Owned Yacht

Owning the new title not only as the World's Most Expensive Privately Owned Yacht, but also the world's largest, this massive ship equals the size of 2 football fields. Known as The Azzam, this $609 million luxury private ship which took 3 years to construct, launched last April 2013. At an impressive length of 590ft (180 meter), the Azzam is now the largest yacht in the world leaving behind Roman Abramovich's Eclipse.

The world-class team responsible for making this dream ship come true was headed by Eng. Mubarak Saad al Ahbabi working alongside Lürssen (one of the world’s notable shipbuilding company based in Bremen-Vegesack) engineers, technical project managers from Burgess, interior designer Christophe Leoni and the the exterior designed by Nauta Yachts.

The last few years might have been bumpy for the automobile industry, but this 2011 anticipates a swift drive for the newly released luxury cars. Let’s take a look at the recently released luxury cars this 2011:

  • Audi recently announced the launch of the Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro, the most recent addition to the highly successful luxury SUV in India. The German luxury car-maker said in a press release that deliveries to customers will begin this April.

  • Known to be an ultra-luxury supercar, Koenigsegg Agera was introduced as the latest model of Sweden’s Koenigsegg to the Indian market. It is a successor to the Koenigsegg CCX/CCXR and they even made a faster version called the Agera R and is said that this car could beat the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s record. The Agera which has the estinated price $2.1M USD will be the second most expensive car in India’s local market.

  • From their Vance Alabama factory, Mercedes is set to launch a new redesigned version of the M-Class SUV in the middle of 2011. Some of these cars has been spotted on test drives in the US and Germany.

Mercedes has not pinpointed this summer's launch date for the 2012 M-Class or released official information about the vehicle. Pricing for the 2011 model starts at about $47,000.  The redesign luxury SUV should have a contemporary, but somewhat safe, look.

Other proud Bugatti owners include Simon Cowell, Tom Cruise, Tom Brady, Ralph Lauren, Scott Storch and Chris Brown. Jay-Z will join a select group of drivers to get behind the wheel of the fastest road-legal vehicle in the world.
